Crypto 2 Cash is an Uber for turning crypto into cash, designed for a team competing in the Chainlink Constellation Hackathon in October 2023.
The idea
Off-ramping is crypto's most-avoided UX problem: converting tokens into spendable cash usually means exchanges, KYC queues, and bank transfer delays. Crypto 2 Cash borrows the Uber mental model (request, match, meet, done) for peer-to-peer crypto-to-cash exchange. Uber quick.
The design
A hackathon deadline forces the design to its essentials: a request flow that feels as familiar as ordering a ride, a matching screen where the "driver" is a cash counterparty, and trust signals doing the heavy lifting, because the product's core promise is that a stranger-to-stranger money swap can feel safe.
